Lincoln Property Company recently announced plans to develop a 131-acre data center campus in Red Oak, TX. This project will be built in collaboration with Gigabit Fiber and Tradition Holding, delivering more than more than 800,000 square feet of data center and tech space, and up to 540 megawatts (MW) of total power. The campus project is specifically designed to support cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and high-capacity, low-latency optical networks.
- Lincoln Property Company will provide capital, financing, and development expertise.
- Gigabit will contribute 131 acres of fully entitled land for the data center project.
- Tradition Holdings will support in bringing together Lincoln’s longstanding expertise in large scale development and Gigabit’s knowledge of the dynamic and growing sector.
Grand Prairie
Provident Data Centers currently has a partnership with PowerHouse Data Centers to develop a 768-acre “hyperscale” data center campus in Grand Prairie, Texas. The multi-phase development of this project will feature a shell campus with robust power sourcing. It’s designed to meet the increasing demand for data center space from industry operators in the Metroplex.
Phase One is set to generate an estimate of 500 megawatts of power. At full build-out, the entire campus is expected to generate 1.8 gigawatts. Once this project is complete, it will be one of the largest data center campuses in both Texas and the nation.
Lancaster
Stack Infrastructure plans to expand their Texas portfolio by developing a 220MW campus in Lancaster, TX. This campus is strategically engineered to support both shell and turnkey deployments, providing scalability and dedicated power. It will also feature AI-ready capabilities to meet the growing demand for infrastructure that supports the expansion of artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and other emerging technologies.

According to the Garland City Documents, the city took consideration of a request from Prime Data Centers to construct a data center. There are now plans of development on a roughly 54-acre site on the northeast corner of Arapaho Road and Holford Road. More considerations are to be made in the future for this project.
Microsoft and QTS to Build Massive Data Centers in Texas
Furthermore, Irving is also rapidly emerging as a key hub for data center growth, with Microsoft and QTS Realty Trust LLC planning to build seven data centers in the area. This large-scale investment is expected to boost the city’s tech infrastructure and economic landscape growth. Firstly, Microsoft is set to build four of seven planned data centers in Irving. The city will provide Microsoft with a 50 percent property tax abatement on the condition it meets specific criteria.
Secondly, QTS also has incentives for expansion, with plans to build the other three data centers. They also qualify for a 50% property tax reduction on its Irving data center projects, provided the company invests at least $350 million in the properties by January 2029. These facilities will support cloud services and enterprise customers.

Additionally, President-elect Donald Trump recently announced a $20 billion foreign investment from a Dubai company called DAMAC Properties on January 7th, 2025. DAMAC Properties is part of the DAMAC Group, which is one of the biggest developers in Dubai.
Emirati billionaire Hussain Sajwani, founder of the property development company DAMAC Properties, plans to invest and build new data centers across America. The first phase of the data center plan consists of Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, Ohio, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan and Indiana.
