RackSolutions Acoustic Enclosure for Apple iPhone and Apple iPad is the perfect solution for voice user interface designers. Designed with an inner foam that prevents scratching and isolates the sound from the outside, the enclosure is used to test out the virtual assistant feature of a smartphone or tablet. You will be able to interact with the virtual assistant through voice or speech commands, such as “Hey Siri” or similar. By using our acoustic enclosure for real device testing, you will be able to test the virtual assistant’s ability to understand spoken language and responsiveness to voice recognition. You can also test out the different voices, languages, and accents of the virtual assistant.
The airflow channel increases air circulation throughout the enclosure so that the device does not overheat and maintains performance. If you need to test on multiple devices, the acoustic enclosures can also be used on our modular rack shelf (opens in a new tab). Each mobile device will be sound isolated from other devices, so you can be sure that nearby devices will not respond or interfere for testing.
The latches on the Acoustic Enclosure provide quick and easy access to your device.
The airflow channels prevent the device from overheating. It increases air circulation throughout the enclosure without interference to the acoustic performance. For efficient airflow, mounting holes are included for optional 20mm fans to be installed.
